Elizabeth Johnson

Screenwriting Lead / Proud Mother

Elizabeth earned her MFA from NYU, and has since racked up 25 years of experience as a Screenwriter, Musician, Songwriter, and Producer, developing and researching stories and songs for independent features, short films, network television shows, and off-Broadway theater productions. Elizabeth is a member of the Writer's Guild Association, the Animation Writers Caucus, the Independent Film Caucus, and she has also worked as a story analyst for the Sundance Film Institute, director Alan Pakula, Warner Brothers, Spring Creek Productions, Scholastic, Inc., The Young Playwrights Project, Script Pimp, and Storymark Magazine.

During her time in New York, Elizabeth was the Managing Artistic Director of the summer conservatory at the 92nd St Y, where she directed, taught, and wrote original musicals with underprivileged youth. After moving to LA, Elizabeth successfully completed The Groundlings Writing Lab and has since written and produced daytime television shows for Disney, Fox, Lifetime, and E!, as well as being a producer for "L.A. Frock Stars," GRB Entertainment's "Sex Sent Me to the E.R," and MSNBC's "Split Second Decision." She has also traveled extensively for writing and production assignments in New York City, Europe, the United Kingdom, Hawaii, the Philippines, and Morocco. Elizabeth is currently based in Los Angeles and travels extensively to the Bay Area and beyond for work and for family.

Roman JohnDoza

Creative Producer / Grateful Son

Roman graduated from Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Environmental Studies and Political Science, where he developed a passion for writing about the everyday philosophy of humans and animals and how we all interact with each other on this planet and beyond. Since graduating in 2014, Roman has become involved in a variety of institutions that seek to improve the quality of wildlife resources and community awareness. He has worked to turn his passion for the outdoors, artistic inspiration, and contemplative, persuasive writing into a professional career, working, consulting, and supporting meaningful organizations such as the de Saisset Museum, the Student Conservation Association, and the City of Benicia.

Being of mixed-raced descent, Roman brings his multicultural expertise as a Writer, Musician, and Creative Galvanizer. As an advocate for our environment and people who have amazing stories to tell, his experience as a musician is his platform for speaking truth to power and each other. Having been around the film industry his entire life, Roman is energized by the process of illuminating stories in the lab, in the studio, and on the magic of the silver screen. Roman is currently based in Oakland.
